The Clawhammer 101 Course is intended for players who consider themselves beginner to beginner/intermediate.

*Pre requisites: 

You should be able to do the basic “boom chick a” strum in the clawhammer style.  

You should know how to tune your banjo (or have someone around who can tune it for you!). 

You should know how to play a few basic chords (like G, C, & D7) and have some proficiency at switching back and forth between them while “strumming” with the right hand.
